At the WTO, you can participate in one of three internship programs. The World Trade Organization (WTO) offers three internship programs for graduate students: (1) the WTO Internship Programme, (2) the China Least Developed Countries and Accession Programme (also known as the China WTO Accession Internship Programme), and (3) the WTO Support Programme for Doctoral Studies. The internship program’s goal is to make the WTO more inclusive.
Criteria for Eligibility
Internships at the World Trade Organization are open to those who meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of a country or customs territory currently negotiating to join the World Trade Organization (WTO).
- have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and one year of graduate study under his or her belt.
- Age requirement: must be 21 or older, and no older than 30 during the internship
