Individuals must meet the following requirements to participate in the World Bank’s Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program:
- Candidates should be early-career researchers in the field of development economics from member countries of the World Bank, with a focus on those from developing countries.
- You need a Master’s degree or a Ph.D. program in Economics or a closely related field to apply for this position.
- Successful candidates will have a strong command of the English language and will be no more than 35 years old at the time the fellowship begins.
- Fellowship candidates should have a demonstrated interest in international development research, exceptional academic credentials, and a willingness to relocate to Washington, DC for the first four months of the fellowship.
