The World Bank is accepting applications for the Robert S. McNamara Fellowships for 2023.

Individuals must meet the following requirements to participate in the World Bank’s Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program:

  • Candidates should be early-career researchers in the field of development economics from member countries of the World Bank, with a focus on those from developing countries.
  • You need a Master’s degree or a Ph.D. program in Economics or a closely related field to apply for this position.
  • Successful candidates will have a strong command of the English language and will be no more than 35 years old at the time the fellowship begins.
  • Fellowship candidates should have a demonstrated interest in international development research, exceptional academic credentials, and a willingness to relocate to Washington, DC for the first four months of the fellowship.
